Dallas Cowboys Rumors: October 2017

If you’re a football fan, you’ve probably heard all about the Cowboys rumors involving Ezekiel Elliott. However, if you’re a Cowboys fan, you probably know there are a lot of other rumors circulating out there around the ‘boys. Luckily, a lot of the latest rumors would be good news! Now, let’s start answering some of the biggest questions.

Is free agent NaVorro Bowman considering the Cowboys?

Former San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman has his eyes set on a few strong teams, one of them including the Dallas Cowboys. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Bowman visited the Oakland Raiders, but he has also scheduled a visit with the Cowboys.

Bowman has played with the 49ers for seven years. That has been his only home team for the entirety of his NFL career. Bowman is just 29-years-old, but he has already accomplished so much in his career as a three-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro member.

Dallas struggles on defense, and that’s what hurt them last season. Bowman could be what the Cowboys need for a successful season. His veteran leadership and quick feet may be able to help the ‘boys get to Super Bowl this year.

Is Tony Romo going to make a comeback out of retirement?

Last year was Tony Romo’s last year with the Cowboys. Quarterback Dak Prescott practically forced him into retirement – just kidding! However, it wasn’t until Romo realized Prescott was exactly what the Cowboys needed that he decided to retire. Romo left with class but didn’t go too far away.
Now, Romo has found a new career in sports broadcasting. Boy, did he get promoted fast - he is now the lead NFL analyst for CBS. However, before he decided to go the broadcasting route, he was considering playing for a new team, possibly the Houston Texans. He decided CBS was too good of an offer to pass up.

This rumor all started when Troy Aikman was broadcasting and suggested the Packers might be able to lure Tony Romo out of retirement. After all, Romo is from Wisconsin and even grew up a Packers fan. Even ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL’s Kay Adams started adding to the discussion.
Romo told the NFL, “Oh yeah, probably a good chance [of returning to the NFL]. We’ll see how it plays out. I think you’ll find — I’m joking. Like I said before, I’m done…” Romo has made it known that he’s not planning on returning to the game anytime soon, so we can put the rumors to rest.

Will Dallas be home to the 2018 NFL Draft?

The 2017 NFL Draft was held in Philadelphia, but unfortunately, the city didn’t do enough to hold their spot. It has been confirmed that the 2018 Draft will be held in Arlington, Texas, at the AT&T Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys. The draft will begin on April 26, and it will take place at the field, stands, and outdoor plazas.

Is Ezekiel Elliott going to reach a settlement with the NFL?

Pretty much everyone in America has heard about the Ezekiel Elliott scandal by now. Elliott’s ex-girlfriend accused him of physically abusing her on multiple occasions. Elliott has never been charged with a crime because the information has been inconsistent and unclear. This legal battle has been going on for months, and they can’t seem to reach a decision. With a case like this, it can be hard to find a middle ground. So, could a settlement be in the works?

Despite what the rumors say, sources close to Ezekiel Elliott and NFLPA claim no interest or knowledge of settlement talks. Elliott has made it known that he’s not fighting this because of the game suspensions; he is fighting this because he wants to clear his name from any allegations.

Dallas Morning News’ David Moore reported that close sources believed the two sides discussed a possible settlement. Moore said it would likely involve a reduced suspension, and both parties would be able to claim some responsibility without losing credibility. However, Elliott made it clear he is not interested in any resolution until the case is overturned.

Dallas Cowboys 2016-17 Season Review

If you are a football enthusiast, I bet you want to see some real American football game. Buy Dallas Cowboys tickets to watch one of the most exciting games of the year. Hold on, before you get that amazing and budget friendly Dallas Cowboys Tickets online and enjoy your favorite game and also watch your favorite team play, it would be interesting to learn how the Dallas Cowboys do in 2016-17 seasons.

The Dallas Cowboys are America’s popular football team known for their capacity and continued to play a great game.  Records have been made & broken; the rules have been changed, dynasties have flourished; individual players have emerged themselves and the whole new pieces of incredible sports champions are rolled out.

For some reason, the last season was the time to restore, in which only a part of it can be called as an appreciable change took place that impacted a team’s fortune or affected their long term prospects. Establishing a quality association in the NLF is an enduring process and for some popular NFL team like the Dallas Cowboys, 2016-17 was just an additional brick in their wall-of-fame.

Over the years, the NFL seasons have given breakout performances, in which many teams have successfully managed to attain their goals and make a remarkable improvement from their previous performances.  The Dallas Cowboys were probably one of the best teams in the league last season.

Moreover, the most exciting part about a Dallas Cowboys breakdown year is not the fact that it happened, but the team had been poised on the cusp of greatness for years.

As always, it’s going to be fun watching the Dallas Cowboys running backs explode out of the backfield. The Cowboys have a profound set of running backs this season with rookie Ezekiel Elliott. Of course, the Cowboys’ ground attack will include the team’s sturdy offensive line,
Regarded by many as the best in the NFL in run blocking.

Last season, the Cowboys ranked 9th in the league; in rushing yards per game with 118.1.  Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick , and Zack Martin give Tony Romo and the backfield three offensive line pieces that might be on their way to All-Pro selections at season’s end. Considering the number of youths on the Cowboys roster, there’s a good bet that the team is not going anywhere, that they should be serious contenders for the next few years.

Well, the Dallas Cowboys 2016, wasn’t ending the way we wanted we were hoping for. In fact, it was one of the most heartbreaking ends of the season. It wasn’t a terrible game by the Cowboys, but due to some silly penalties and a few calls that didn’t go their way, I thought they played well.

After years of mediocrity while the Cowboys rebuild around head coach, the Dallas Cowboys headed into the 2016-17 season. This will finally be the year when franchise quarterback Tony Romo would stay healthy throughout the season and live up to his potential and lead the team to a championship.

It’s Game Time for the Dallas Cowboys!

With just one game left to go to end the preseason set and officially begin the coming season of the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys have some exciting matches lined up for September. Which one(s) are you gonna be there for?

Houston Texans - September 1

The last game in the preseason set, the match against the Houston Texans will have the added excitement of being the precursor to the official onset of football season! Having entered the NFL only in 2002, the Texans are the youngest franchise and as such, have not had the time to build classic rivalries. Nevertheless, they do have an intrastate rivalry with the Cowboys - they compete for the “Governor’s Cup”...and that should make this game very interesting!

New York Giants - September 11

Games against the New York Giants, one of the Cowboys’ favourite rivals, always live up to the promise of an exciting evening. With an evenly split season record last year and key players on the Giants team that are always ready to thwart the Cowboys’ plays, this match is set to be a thrilling contest you don’t want to miss. Who’s gonna pass up a chance to be in the stands for this one?

Washington Redskins - September 18

The Cowboys’ rivalry with the Washington Redskins began when the former joined the NFL; a deal had been struck between former Redskins owner George Preston Marshall and Clint Murchison Jr. to buy the team. But Marshall changed the terms at the last minute and the deal fell through...and the rivalry was born. Carried on from them to their players, every match is an ultimate challenge of skill and competition!

Chicago Bears - September 25

The Chicago Bears come with a list of triumphs - nine NFL championships, one Super Bowl, most members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and more season and overall victories recorded than any other NFL franchise. With a resume like that, a game between the Bears and the Cowboys is slated to be action-packed event as they slug it out in another journey to the top. You definitely wanna be there!
